Βαρόσι Varosi

Βαρόσι Varosi - an über cool cafe (with wifi)

A café art bar in Thrace, Greece.

Previously a house (I went with the old owners) this building was turned into a cafe after nearly collapsing in on itself. As the building is fairly old it is listed, and so the owners couldn't destroy or add to it. With the building intact and revamped - the house vibe, fit with old trinkets, is really quite enjoyable. What is weird is when you're drinking your frappé and your "tour guide" points to certain rooms indicating their old sitting room and bedroom.

Though a lot has changed since my friend lived there, and the items inside the house have changed, it's kept the house vibe.

During summer, the upstairs room is locked leaving only the bathroom open to the public, as most of the visitors are outside in the garden. In winter, when less visitors are outside, the upstairs is opened up. Simple as that.

It's prices are pretty average so no strains on your wallet for a comfortable time with your mates.

They also make toasties.
